VulcanForms is seeking a Documentation Control Coordinator/Admin for our Devens, MA location.

Job Purpose
As the Document Control Coordinator/Admin, you will have a unique opportunity to work with industrial-scale metal additive manufacturing (AM) machines. You will be part of the team that launches the world's most productive additive manufacturing system. This role is for our manufacturing facility in Devens, MA, and may require travel to headquarters in Burlington, MA, to support projects. 

You will primarily be responsible for supporting Engineering development and changes through Quality System, ERP, and PLM database. These tasks include but are not limited to:

  • Support Bill of Material (BOM) and part releases in ERP (Epicor) and PLM System (Windchill)
  • Making revisions changes and sending change notices under supervision of Quality Department and Configuration Management/Document Control Manager
  • Liaison between Manufacturing and Engineering to track and communicate requested changes
  • General application of engineering services type functions
Key Accountabilities
  • Support Document Control team with reviewing, logging, tracking, and following up on submitted change requests.
  • Support Document Control in creating and maintaining Technical Construction Files (CE) and Design History Records (DHR).
  • Make approved changes in PLM Windchill and ERP database.
  • Support cross-functional Engineering disciplines to ensure product documentation is reviewed and approved for use within Operations.
  • Release quality processes from approved redlines.
  • Provide data and documentation requests throughout the company.
  • Ensure the latest revision documentation is processed in appropriate systems and prior revisions archived.
  • Work with production, purchasing, and engineering to ensure the BOM has the correct structure and correct components and quantities in the system. Report all discrepancies to the manager.
  • Data Entry and file maintenance as required to complete job functions.
  • Ability to view, analyze and organize data for specific projects.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies and procedures.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience
  • Strong working knowledge of Creo/Windchill/PDM Link
  • Working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems
  • Working knowledge of multi-level engineering BOM structures and Engineering drawings
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, specifically Excel
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize, manage time, and balance multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Authorized to work within the U.S. without restrictions or sponsorship now or in the future (U.S. Citizen or lawful Permanent Resident of the U.S. (U.S. green card holder))
  • ISO 9001 a plus
