Job Description
VulcanForms is seeking a Technical Project Manager to join their Mechanical Team in Burlington, Massachusetts. This department functions in the design, assembly, and commissioning of LPBF machines. You will demonstrate a commitment to stay on target with attention to detail. In this role, you will plan and coordinate all aspects of technical management within an industrial setting, working hands-on with complex projects from initiation to delivery. You will develop detailed project plans and manage all implementation processes that may include resource allocation, progress tracking, monitoring change control process, testing, documentation, training, and on-time delivery within budget constraints. Other duties will include:

  • Identifying areas of improvement for the projects
  • Supporting the interdepartmental team to complete assigned projects on time
  • Project initiation, project planning, project execution, project monitoring and control, and project completion
  • Coordinate with departments to update on the status of a project
  • Address questions, concerns, and or objections throughout the project
  • Provide project updates as the Technical Project Manager
Qualifications
  • US Citizen, lawful permanent resident of the US (or green card holder). VulcanForms is an ITAR facility
  • Associates/Technical degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience in a related area such as machine building, capital equipment, assembly set-up, factory set-up, business operations, project management, or varied industry experience
Preferred
  • Bachelor’s Degree or military service
  • PMP or comparable project management certification
  • Specific capital equipment project management experience
