VulcanForms is a start-up OEM of metal Additive Manufacturing (AM) systems within laser powder bed fusion.

Our location in Burlington, MA, seeks an Office Manager/Front Desk Receptionist individual. This role may be the first point of contact for internal and external parties. The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, start-up environment and be flexible with exceptional multi-tasking skills.

In this vital role, you will serve as the day-to-day interface between our company and its service providers, vendors, and visitors. This position requires excellent attention to detail, organization, professionalism, and the ability to maintain an efficient business environment. This opportunity is a full-time position with benefits, 401K, paid holidays, and generous PTO.

Responsibilities
  • Answering incoming calls professionally and courteously
  • Professionally greeting visitors and vendors and informing them of our COVID-19 safety protocols
  • Monitoring office supplies and ordering new supplies as needed
  • Organizing the office to ensure a safe working environment
  • Ordering food for team lunches
  • Watering plants
  • Ordering snacks for the office
  • Receiving mail and distributing according to the protocol
  • Ordering of business cards
The main point of contact for the following:
  • Water delivery service
  • Trash service
  • Business janitorial service
  • Building maintenance
  • Printer/copier service
  • Company swag personalization
Qualifications:
  • Associates or Bachelors Degree
  • At least 3+ year administrative/office management experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Experience in a start-up environment is strongly preferred; additive manufacturing experience is favorable
  • Analytic mindset and strong problem-solving skills
  • Great relationship-building capabilities
  • Flexibility and professional maturity recognize priorities and anticipate needs
  • Ability to manage conflicting priorities
  • Must have a positive “can-do” attitude, a consummate team player, excellent judgment as well as ability to work well independently
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, ability to multi-task, and a willingness to perform a wide range of tasks
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and maintain a high standard of confidentiality
